The venues at Auckland Convention Centre at THE EDGE have been designed to enable access for everyone, and our Events Team are always on hand to provide assistance.
Mobility Access
All of our venues offer mobility access. A combination of lifts and ramps ensure that all levels at each of our venues can be accessed by people in wheelchairs or people who have difficulty climbing stairs.
Lifts in Aotea Centre are located at the southern end of the building towards Greys Avenue. In Auckland Town Hall, there is a glass lift that can be found in the central atrium. The lift location in The Civic is a little harder to locate. If you know you will need to use the lift in The Civic, please advise one of our Events Team and they will be able to assist you.
Access between our three venues
Aotea Square links Aotea Centre with Auckland Town Hall. When current Aotea Square developments are complete, a sheltered walkway will link the two.
The Civic is a short walk from Aotea Centre under a covered walkway at the back of the Bledisloe Building. The Civic can be accessed from Auckland Town Hall by walking a short distance down Queen Street.
