Read Raw takes you from your seat in the audience into the heart of the creative process, allowing you to experience the best new theatre in its early stages.
Join some of Auckland’s hottest emerging playwrights as they showcase their latest works in a series of rehearsed play readings, and share your thoughts with the writer, director and actors following each reading.
Each of the featured plays is work-shopped and read by professional local actors on the night, under the guidance of a professional director. Come along to see the live readings, and provide your feedback to help shape the future direction of the plays.
