Ravel Piano Concerto in G
Dvořák Symphony No.9, ‘From the New World’

The APO is delighted to welcome back Andreas Boyde, to perform Ravel’s riotous piano concerto, which reflects the jazz idioms of New Orleans where the composer spent some time.

Meanwhile, Dvořák’s glorious ‘New World’ symphony epitomises the pioneering spirit of America.

“[Boyde] treated every musical idea, every thematic variation as if they were pure gold.”- Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger
