Our Entertainment and Event Venues

THE EDGE is the hub of performing arts and entertainment in Auckland, New Zealand, comprising four of Auckland's finest event venues: Aotea Centre, The Civic, Auckland Town Hall and Aotea Square. 

We are proud to be the preferred entertainment venue of many visiting international companies and to host the regular subscription seasons of several of New Zealand's leading performing arts companies, including The NBR New Zealand Opera, The Royal New Zealand Ballet, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Music New Zealand, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Auckland Theatre Company and Silo Theatre.

We also host several well-known festivals including Auckland Festival, the Auckland Film Festival, Auckland Writers and Readers Festival and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, amongst others.

Our venues are also home to Auckland Convention Centre. A range of conventions are held at our event venues including multi-day conferences, product launches, meetings, exhibitions, gala dinners and awards ceremonies.

Offering some the city's most recognisable venues, our spaces are well loved by Aucklanders and visitors alike. All distinctly different, they are located within only minutes from one another in the Auckland City CBD.
