THE EDGE is situated in Auckland’s central business district. Whichever one of our venues you are visiting, there is a public car park nearby.

The closest option is the Civic Car Park, located directly below Aotea Centre, THE EDGE.

The Civic car park remains open throughout the Aotea Square redevelopment with over 700 spaces, and is the ideal option when attending a show in the Aotea Centre. Read more about the latest parking information during the Aotea Square redevelopment.

Auckland City Council has many economic, safe and convenient car parks strategically placed throughout the CBD. The parking buildings are staffed during opening hours. Civic car park

The closest option is the Civic car park, located directly below Aotea Centre, THE EDGE. The Civic car park remains open throughout the Aotea Square redevelopment with over 700 spaces, and is the ideal option when attending a show in our venues. Or consider using alternative parking buildings such as the Atrium on Elliott or Victoria Street car parks

If you are planning on parking at the Civic car park, please note that the payment machines are not currently taking credit card payments. Customers wishing to use their credit cards can still do so at the Cashiers booth situated on Level 1 of the carpark. The payment machines still accept cash.

Pre-paid Parking at The Civic

A limited number of pre-paid parking spaces are available from 6.00 pm. Find out more here.

If you have a pre-paid parking voucher please be aware you must have your ticket with you when you enter the Civic car park. Please collect your ticket from the Box Office BEFORE entering the car park, or select to have the tickets posted to you.

Taxis

The nearest taxi rank to THE EDGE is on Wellesley Street, however, all taxis will pick up and drop off passengers directly outside our venues. For more information about taxis in Auckland City visit the Auckland City Council website.
