The comprehensive range of programmes we offer underpins our long term priority to engage you in national and international arts and cultural events and to support your endeavours as an emerging or established artist or performing arts company.

In this section of our website, we provide the information you need to become involved in the performing arts:

• The innovative Learning, Participation and Access programmes at THE EDGE continue to create opportunities for students, teachers and members of the community to access new New Zealand work in performing arts as well as experience large scale performances from our national and regional companies.

• Our Development Programmes maximise opportunities for the development of performing artists and their work.

• Our annual International Arts Season has become an important part of our calendar, and we host the subscription performances of some of New Zealand’s major performing arts companies in addition to hosting a Company in Residence. Annual Festivals and Visiting Shows add to the vibrant and varied arts experience we offer.
