Festivals

Auckland Fringe was established in 2009 to complement the biennial Auckland Festival. A partnership between THE EDGE and Auckland Festival, Auckland Fringe provides a platform for independent performing artists and companies to present their work in an environment of artistic freedom, while giving audiences access to eclectic arts experiences and enriching the cultural landscape of Auckland.

The 2009 Auckland Fringe was a huge success. During a three week period more than 75 events ran in over 40 different venues around Auckland. Check out Auckland Fringe for updates on the 2011 Auckland Fringe.
